Kati began her real estate career in Charlotte, NC as a young graduate of North Carolina State University. Working for Pappas Properties, she learned the real estate development business from the ground up as the company built and marketed luxury condominiums in the upscale South Park neighborhood. That experience has been invaluable to her work on the Highlands – Cashiers Plateau helping home buyers and sellers negotiate what can be complex transactions.
Kati and her husband, Cory, moved to the area over a decade ago facing a historically tough economic period. They saw the potential in the market and simply fell in love with the natural beauty of Western North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountain. Today they are a family of four, Cory has built a successful custom home construction business, and the real estate market in Cashiers and Highlands is thriving.
As Sales Director at Mountaintop Properties since 2015, Kati has driven sales and resales within the club. She and her team are focused on providing members with a seamless process for buying or selling their properties within the club. They are also dedicated to creating a superior experience for potential new members being introduced to Mountaintop’s unique lifestyle and values. Kati’s goal as she leads the Club’s official in-house real estate company is to represent the best interests of the club membership and interface effectively with Club management to maintain exceptional standards for service.
Kati has earned the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) designation, and is a member of The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. She is also a Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist as designated from the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
